3D Television Resources

The omnipresent Wikipedia has quite an informative overview of the history and technology behind 3D TV including some information on the efforts to standardise the 3D industry. 

British Sky Broadcasting (aka Sky) announced in 2009 that they will launch 3D TV in 2010 following a record uptake in their High Definition (HD) service. Sky confirmed that their 3D channel will be available to existing HD set-top box owners when connected to a new 3D TV.
